circa 1953, with blued 19 1/2in. barrel, tunnel fore-sight, elevating notch rear-sight, tap load at breech, blued air chamber with no provision for telescopic sight, dark plain beech three-quarter stock with grooved fore-end and hard plastic heel-plate, the whole retaining virtually all its original finish throughout and appearing little used
